Day 3: Praying for Israel’s Spiritual Awakening

Dear Friends,

Welcome to Day 3 of our Isaiah 62 Fast. Today, our focus is on praying for Israel’s spiritual awakening and the revelation of Jesus as the true Messiah. As we continue to seek the Lord in prayer, let’s be mindful of the great need for Jesus to reveal Himself to His chosen people.

Day 3 Prayer Focus: Pray for Revival in the Land and Salvation of Jewish Souls

Scripture: “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.” – Zechariah 12:10 (NKJV)

Today, let’s focus our prayers on:

  • Praying for the eyes of the Jewish people to be opened to recognise Yeshua (Jesus) as their Messiah.

  • Asking the Lord to pour out His Spirit of grace and supplication upon Israel, bringing a deep revelation of the truth.

  • Interceding for the growth and impact of Messianic congregations and ministries within Israel.

  • Praying for a wave of supernatural encounters, dreams, and visions that reveal Jesus to those who don’t yet know Him.

Scriptures you can pray from:

  • Romans 11:26-27: “And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; for this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.'”

  • Ephesians 1:17-18: “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.”

  • 2 Thessalonians 3:1: “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you.”

  • Colossians 1:9-12: “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.”

  • Acts 2:17: “‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.'”

A few other Scriptures about Israel being made righteous (salvation through Jesus):

  1. Isaiah 1:18: “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.'”

  2. Isaiah 45:24-25: “Surely one shall say, ‘In the Lord I have righteousness and strength. To Him men shall come, and all shall be ashamed who are incensed against Him. In the Lord all the descendants of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory.'”

  3. Isaiah 61:10: “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”

  4. Jeremiah 33:16: “‘In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.'”
