Day 1: Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

Today marks the beginning of our 21-day Isaiah 62 Fast, and we’re excited to embark on this journey with you. Each day, we will provide a prayer focus to guide your personal time of intercession throughout the day.

Day 1 Prayer Focus: Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and Unity

Scripture: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you.'” – Psalm 122:6 (NKJV)

As we start our fast, let’s pray for the peace of Jerusalem and unity, asking the Lord to protect and bless the city, its people, and the land of Israel.

Consider the following points as you pray:

  • Reconciliation between Arabs and Jews, that they may be reached with the love of God, experience forgiveness and forgive each other.

  • Messianic congregations and ministries doing reconciliation, that they may shine with the light of Messiah.

  • Pray for unity among believers, that the Messianic Body would be One.

John 17:21-24: “that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”

Romans 15:5-6: “Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
